I'll have to learn how to do my own first. Haha.

Upgraded to a 4 person after being cramped in that little 2 man hiker last year.

Will work for beer !

I've also upgraded from my condensation infected £20 Tesco special, wot oi left behind at Dom's last year, and just bought a 3 man Vango Avon 300 tent.  It's got a double skin and a gothic front porch. :)  Also half price from Sports Direct. :D

Best thing is to pull the fooker off matey, did this once after wearing new hiking boots on a day long trail and me toes got  mashed, hot bath, let it soften and woop it off... dip it in salt water to cleanse  :evillaff:

Bet that hurt though..

Have to agree that's the best idea.

I suffer with ingrown nails/overgrown skin and my big toes need attention every 3 months or so....softening the nail with water, and numbing the nerves with alcohol works well.

Go to youtube and serch for 'toenail removal' for the full graphic experience ;)

Basically tie a tight tornequet at the base of the toe, sterlilise every implement (dip all mine in germolene first), drink neat vodka but save a bit to splash on the toe afterwards. :good:

900 with better bits. Owes me nothing, Makes me smile

Nice one. It's a Vango Ark 400 I got. They make solid tents mate so you wont go far wrong. Gothic arch too apparently to help with head height which will still be no use for me. You might be ok though lol. Just kidding mate.

The procedure of removing the nail took all of 4-5 mins and I didn't feel a thing.  The 4 needles needed to numb my toe fookin' smarted though.

Musta given me extra as it's only just wearing off, got me a roight throbber now, esp. where they put the needles in.  Might be a while afore I can change gear on the bike. :( Podiatrist reckons it could take up to 5 weeks to fully heal, I'll give it a few days and see how it goes, don't wanna get an infection.

Yea Ian, dont be to anxious about getting on the bike matey, give it time and keep it dressed, easy to become infected, you can always wrap your foot in a plastic bag to shower..
