Hi guys!!!

Next tecnical queshions in this season  :sorry:

During last whashing I saw big scratch inside the frame near the chain

Pix 1

I can think only one oppotunity to make it - when bike fallen while rides. But there are no scratches on the my new chain and on old original chain!! And no metal dust anywhere.

What you think about this? Where is the true??? :-)

On pix 2 you also can see chain slider (swingarm guard). Front end of slider very curved to the right.

Can it be the reason of whine sound on higher gears?

Some weeks ago I downloaded inglish servise manual and fide "interesting" note - chain slack should be adjust when bike on the central stand. And I tryed it. During my next ride I heared whine sound. My ride was 20-25km. Then I back my correct slack back but whine does not gone  :istupid:

I hope I did not kill my gearbox   :hide:

But what's with this washing thing you talk about ?
Last time I tried that it only ran on one cylinder
Sometimes a good layer of dirt hides a multitude of sins
So does being half Deaf !

Ride Bike - when doesn't work - Fix Bike - until then relax

Check wheel alignment,it looks as if the chain has been rubbing on the frame.Gearbox whine is common in 2and3,on both of my tdm,s anyway.

Wheel alignment I checked - it is OK.

And I can't imagine what could be assambled wrong in rear wheel so the chain whould scratch the frame.

It might just be backlash of the chain when you decellerate that's caused the wear on the frame.
