If anyone is over the Isle of Man, and fancies a cuppa and a natter, and a bit of a ride-out, give us a shout (text/pm/facebook - still same mobile)

Pete

A great Manx trip this year, and better for an OAP, than the TT.

Mountain section was not one way as at TT but, I thought, actually better as there were no cones and if you are only a road rider it's more intuitive anyway.

Vintage shows, museums, presentations, classics and of course the racing practice were all fun to experience, and many thanks to Paul B (Manx1200) for meeting up and sharing local knowledge.

Here are a few pictures but lots more ( if you want to see 'em) on my FB page ...

I have always preferred the Manx, get more enthusiasts attending and a little more laid back.

For a challenging summer try the

Round Britain Rally.....

Just got this pic from FanTTastic photos

... a great event and better, for an OAP like me , than the TT itself

We shall return next year!

This is as trusted Yamaha dealer set when I collected the bike. All dealers seem to set 25mm at services and I usually remind/insist or reset myself, but on this occasion left it as all running ok.

But I agree with everyone else .... it SHOULD be 50mm.
