Kin eck. Honda should have brought that engine back with much bigger bore & some attitude, but they are a firm that makes a beautiful V4 & cover it in plastic so no one can see it.
Its the engine that makes a bike IMHO

Are you sure.
I thought the cx turbo was a 500, the xj turbo was a 650.
jdelfino is correct, they did do a 650 turbo I seem to recall in white.
Oo! here we go.

I had 3 which ferried me around London and the UK for many a year. Always liked the Eurosports but this is a beaut, proof you can polish a turd.
The Turbo's were a marvel in 80's engineering as offset V Twins aren't the easiest engines to turbo charge, let alone one with low cams AND pushrods. Honda not being able to see the wood for the trees again.
Saying that, the XJ650 turbo used force induction through sealed carburettors! But shoulder pads, leg warmers and dayglo were cool then....

Wish my CX had looked that good. Where does the number plate go? How do you insure something like that. Can't' really claim it's a CX.
