Read the article as I love the MT09 triple motor and likewise the TRX (owned one for 3 years). Ian should be proud of the sheer quality of the work he has carried out. Maybe it would have been truer to the spirit of TRX if the MT-07 motor had been installed????

Don't get the 700cc route - a lot of work for little or no gain. His 900 conversion is a cracker.

Not sure I should thank you for that link Studley, I just spent three hours reading 51 pages. Lovely work.

Hiya everyone - just seen this. thanks for the kind words. The MT09 engine is the perfect lump to fit in the TRX chassis (apart from the fact it didnt fit) for track use.
Its really user friendly and hauls ass out the corners like a litre sports bike, without the insane top speeds that make corner entry terrifying. I am way quicker on the trx than I was on my 2012 fireblade.
the photoshoot took all afternoon as the weather was horrible, but it was worth it for some nice pictures of the bike. Shame they had to get my ugly mug in there too!
First track day of the year booked for 17th April at croft. cant wait!
