Anyone tryed to make something like this fit a givi rack

I have bought a used givi pannier rack,
And 2 pc 30 liter panniers from this guy: www.coyotetrips.com

I will post pictures in the "reviving a tdm 850" thread in some weeks

Not sure about side panniers but really worth trying for a topbox. I think they look great.

Go for it.

A bloke at work uses loads of flight cases for his DJ equipment and they are very strong.

But yeah not sure if they'll be waterproof, worth a try though.

A few open at each end might be good can always chuck waterproof covers over them :-)

Could you by a second hand proper set for the cost of those flight cases??

My Super Modded TDM has gone to a new home :(

We use Pelican Storm Cases for carrying equipment aorund, which are completely waterproof. No idea if you can get them for a sensible price though. http://pelican.com/

I'd still look for second hand Givi stuff for bike use though.
