Anyone successfully replaced these filters as they are gummed up a bit and I'd like new tips as opposed to giving Yamaha £63 for new ones?

engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Wonder if you might find summit in a pet shop, for aquariums maybe, should be fine enough. £63 :huh:

the 63 squids is the whole thing i reckon which included the alloy holder.  suppose i cud simply remove the cruddy ones and fit an inline filter outside of the tank.

Better option, £63's a bit to steep, could you maybe cut out the mesh and reglue some plastic mesh in it's place, worth a try maybe.
