Ach, you're too kind Daps

I have to say that my airbox held down by a bungee arrangement seems to work reasonably well, but I think I'll look at your idea again. I've got some new carb to head rubbers on there way that need to be fitted and I'm still pondering that carb toobs (the carbs are still unopened and sitting on the bench)

SO many things to do and so little time to get them all done.....<sigh>
Did I mention 135mph?

And that's official

Ahh Brill ! Cheers Studley, saves me taking off the tank and airbox  :good:

Rubbers are £23 each from AJ Suttons so might give some 60mm hose a go.

The clips you already have might work properly on the silicon hose if the hose is thicker than the rubbers. :)

Dablik--Just a warning--

When I did this to my MK2 the silicone was such a good fit on the stub of  inlet rubber that I didnt glue them  I used jubilee clips to hold them on but I done them up to tight and months later the revs  started to go up and down by 3/400 reves so of came the air box and  I found I had squeezed the rubbers out of round so after rounding them back I glued and zip tide them on--revs were fine then.
