Speedo Trip

Hi my trip is not working it go's up slowly ie if I ride 10 miles it register 2 miles

Any ideas

Probably busted the lugs off the speed sensor if its the electronic variety - the good news is they can be super-glued back on and a replacement is not too expensive.

Ok thanks but would this not make the speedo slow as well

Yes it would make the speedo erratic/not function - when I busted mine however, the speedo worked intermittently but not for long. Worth pulling the wheel out for a looksee as it is free to do.

Broken tang sounds loikely.

Think there is a thread here somewhere that shows the cheaper tang section can be replaced without the expensive electronical section.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Active member of TPLQHCSRSFC and TSRMCMAS (even though a year off) and avid fan of PM not sent.
