Hi

Always liked the TDM and finally got one from a mate 2001 gen 25,000 one owner.

Will be on road 1st Feb

It needed a new shock so I went for a YSS only £249

I will let you know how it goes

Shock arrived and very nice it is too happy with the price.

Only time will tell but it fitted in no problems and the ride, obviously, is better than the original.

My shock had only done 26,000 but had no dampening and the spring was as so soft I could

push it down with one hand.

Not had a real blast on it yet but it had a very good feel.

I have changed the front springs too.

You know when your suspension is set correctly for you as you do not know it is working.

If you go into a corner and you feel the front dives too much or the back end skips out then

it is time to tweak your settings or a new shock.

I will have to report back later in the year.

Don't forget, 850 and 900 shocks are totally different. ;)
