H reg must be too old then!

Following on from muppets stories, Yesterday on way home from work, 17 yr old on his 125, with one of those helmets with the double chin which he must think makes him look 'ard,' and I kid you people not, for some of this road he was following me on...... NO hands on his bars. Just wearing a t-shirt also, no gloves.

Seriously, If I came into power, there would be some serious laws surrounding the age that people can ride, and what you have to wear by law to ride.

While I agree that these muppets should know better, it's not really a legal matter is it?
It's very similar to the boy racers at the TT every year who get killed racing on open roads. It's very sad when they involve other people, but I have to believe it's just God's natural selection!

Cant really say its just young people though. I see more idiots on GSXR's and R1's in shorts and t-shirts when its hot than i do on 125's.

I, myself, have never ridden without gloves. and have a minimum of boots, jeans, jacket gloves, even when its sweltering its just not worth the risk.

At the end of the day Its their own life there risking, the only thing that bothers me is the then drain of tax payers money if they survive !

I feel nekid if I'm not ATGATT, I can't comprehend how a rider can put so much faith in other road users, the road or their own ability.

Doon here we have no compulsory insurance but pay an ACC levy on top of our rego (road tax). The rego is cheap, the levy is huge. I pay more than $1100 for two bikes, the TDM & the wee DT every year. You have to pay this on every bike you own despite only being able to ride one at a time.

It gets bloody hot here, too, so skin in the breeze is very common, scooter commuters being the worst.

Any hoo, something else not safe for work................. Crikey!

It's a bit blurry & she's wearing a cheese cutter.
