I DID put *gory* in the title.

I think it's very well made.

It's called CGI, Computer Generated Imagery. And it's very well made, does bring the point across, right?

better fill our gardens up with sponges and cushions too, just in case we fall out of the window while ironing the curtains,
always use plastic safety knives when carving the sunday roast, a metal knife could cut your fingers off if it slipped while cutting too fast.

My dad's a paramedic and mum is a nurse... I've seen a biker have gravel pulled out of tendons with tweezers in open wounds around his knee caps. You should have heard the screams.

I don't care how long it takes to put gear on or what I look like I'll always wear it!

Each to their own.

absolutely because skin will wear away in next to no time, gloves are well worth it because they're made of leather, leather is skin too and if we eat lots of grass our skin will become tough like leather, when I slid down the road many years ago at 35mph'ish while just wearing jeans and t-shirt my skin did indeed wear away quite quickly (back and arm), but then the sticky stuff underneath my skin acted like a lubricant and gave me a nice smooth silent slide into the kerb stone, that biker that had gravel pulled from his knee tendons had better remember to put gloves on his knees in the future, incidently a hot exhaust pipe removed my skin faster than the road did, so these days I wear asbestos jumpers at every oportunity smile.gif

Does look very real indeed. Ive had gravel removed with surgical 'turps' and a nail brush and my spill was minor. Its true just how destructable we are.

Guess you got no familymembers or a partner that needs to feed you or take care of you, that does help.... sort of...

The great thing about riding gear is that it doesn't have to look dorky but it does make a slider a total non event. After that you can get the bike up again and continue with perhaps some bruises. When you're just wearing jeans and a T-shirt a simple slider can actually kill you, skin is pretty essential. If it doesn't kill you it can make you very dependent on your family or friends, perhaps even cost you your job. Of course it can get hairy even with gear, but you at least prevented your skin from being shredded which can be far worse than breaking a bone (just ask burn victims).
