Odd one just connected the 900 battery up. Runs fine, flashers work but if I put hazards on it flashes once and knocks the flashers out to, turn key off on they work again till I try the hazard switch again, may be thinking relay ? Has been parked up for a long time.
Anyone know where the relay is located?

Under the tank, likely a dodgy connection if there coming on again, while your under the tank pull all the connections and clean them up, common issue with electrics on the 9r.. could also be a dodgy switch connection.

Simple enough circuit. The same cable from the flasher unit operates left , right or hazards depending which switch is thrown. Probably a bad connection that fails when you double the load by turning the hazards on. Find the flasher unit. Remove the plug and bridge the two pins together. If your hazards now come on and stay on (switch on obviously) then the fail is in the flasher unit. If they don't come on, the supply (fuse to FL unit) is failing or output (FL unit to switch) is failing. As always check for power with a 21w bulb not a multimeter...hth...
