Picked it up this morning and have been carefully running it in all day and enjoying the sunshine. I'll post a full write up when I've put some miles on. First impressions are that the screen is noisy in any position and you would have to be 7 ft tall to benefit from the seat in the higher position. Everything else is superb.

Agree it looks lovely with one exception and that's the screen. As Dandy said, there'll soon be an aftermarket screen that will easily sort that out. Very interested to see how it compares to the TDM.

Nice bike, I picked mine up on 1 March, is that the Bull in Inkberrow?, I'm not far from there.
Quite right, it's the Bull, for any Radio 4 devotees of The Archers, it is the basis for the Bull in Ambridge.

Looks good, thinking it may be my next bike in absence of yamaha making a new TDM. Still unsure of a Triple as I've only had prodominatly Twins.

I would make sense for Yamaha to produce an MT07 variant of the Tracer - same output as the TDM, twin cylinder, 182kg wet with ABS.
The combo of similar engine output but nearly 20% lighter could hit the buttons.......................

Definitely. Absolutely. A post here drew my attention to the MT07, Tracer appeared, the videos blurred and I had a twitch of Nirvana.
I love those numbers, 182kg and 75hp, apparently. Nifty is the word that springs to mind..
Sorry Op, got distracted. Enjoy your new bike. I'm looking forward to your posts.

Has anybody here had a test ride on the MT07? If you do you will greatly miss the grunt of the TDM. Its just not there. Unlike the MT09. The missing 200 cubes are very noticeable. And it is soooo tiny! My missus hated it on the back.
I think a 700 Ten to replace the underpowered 660 would be good but it will not be big enough in any sense to replace the TDM.
But the mapping is perfect!!!
