I was supposed to go for a ride last weekend, 1000km through North Western NSW.  I had the bike on a trickle charger for the week prior to departure.  Set off for the meeting point and the bike died when I stopped for fuel.  It died another three times before I got to the meeting point. I decided to withdraw and headed home after coffee.  The power bank started the bike eight times that morning however the Jump starter got the bike started each time.  It has certainly proven its value.

What do you always have packed in your bike? My list:

Rope type tyre plug kit.

CO2 cartridge.

Pump powered from cigarette lighter on bars. The pump also has a light built in.

Spare fuses in an old spark plug box which has 2 meters of duct tape wrapped around it.

Standard tool kit with additional tools.

Jump starter power bank.

Tyre inflator, much smaller than carrying a compressor, but with a compressor you can pump it up to find where the hole is and keep pumping it up if it's a slow puncture.  Never actually used them though as whenever I've had a puncture it's been at home or with someone who had a compressor.
