Last night I was on the Internet using my desktop PC, no issues.
This morning Mozilla Firefox nor Internet Explorer would run. Could get on-line using my netbook and all connections were good
The desktop refused to play ball.

I have now managed to get on-line using Internet Explorer 64 bit, but Internet Explorer or Firefox won't, saying no connection

I know that 75% of all TDM riders are IT Tekkies and will be able to answer this. tongue.gif

Cheers

Have you had updates to your browsers or your firewall? Have you checked your firewall settings? Try switching your firewall off for a minutes or so and try it - don't leave it off for too long. If you get a connection then it's probably your firewall settings that need checking.Assume your netbook is connecting wirelessly? Have you tried the cable from your desktop PC to your router? Is there a poor connection? Try connecting your netbook via the lead (don't forget to disconnect the wireless connection).See if any of those help, if not get back and I'll have a think.

If you've just upgraded to IE 8, then it takes all browsers off & you have to choose from a list
(Something to do with the EU shafting Microsoft for anti competitive practices with Windows & Internet Explorer)

Just had to go through all this getting Boy's laptop fired up today rolleyes.gif

When you decide this is more than "just a glitch" post here, I've some suggestions.

Also, once "the coast is clear" I can have a look remotely via "Teamviewer" if you'd like!

If you are trying to get Carpe to host the image it is likely an upload problem.

For the other stuff....alls I can suggest is give it a lick.
"Whats up", "Piston Broke", "Yeah me too...hic"

If you want to mark your location on the Carpe map: http://www.carpe-tdm...opic.php?t=5117

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Is that tumble weed I see.... rotflmmfao.gif

AFAIK Microshite wont let you install IE updates unless you have a genuine version on Windows, i.e. not the copy I used to use, ahem.

So I kinda figured it's not available for download to non Windows types.

Besides it's be like having a Ferrari and installing a fiesta engine lol!
