Don't the Ognibene sprockets just come with the damping ring that the OE front sprocket comes with.
If I'm honest I've not noticed the difference between a solid sprocket and the OE with the damper...

What are JT sprockets searched but can't find them.

JT sprockets are basic low cost thin sprockets and not worth searching for imho.
On the mk1, there have been a few occasions where JT front sprockets have damaged/worn the output shaft splines due to a poor fit.

Thanks for that I will have to look as I think that's what is on mine. If so would it be worth investing in an Obinginee, Orbieeny, OBoingy, Ognibene one?

I can't speak for Ognibene sprockets but I can speak with some experience about Ognibene chains - and my experience wasn't good!
I've just written a piece about them in my blog.. https://adventurerid....wordpress.com/

The jt sprocket problem is only with the mk1 so yours should be fine. I wouldn't buy a jt one if I was after a new one as there are better quality sprockets like Afam, oem, etc.

How much does a pair of OEM sprockets cost? (9er) Is there much dufference in an OEM chain/sprockets kit than DID/JT of ebay?
I had a tight link recenty but got it freed up ok, at 26K though I'll have to get around to changing the chain/sprockets when I get time.

Thanks, can't see why not but is there such a thing as an OEM chain?

The Yamaha oem chain is actually a DID chain (D.I.D.525HV-118LE) and it's £154 +vat from fowlers.
Yamaha oem C&S kit would prolly be cheaper than buying seperately though.
