i really really really hate thieving scrotes who cant keep their hands off other peoples property - something about 'em makes my 'try to see the other fellas point of view' side disappear and my 'pass me my axe' side come to the fore - below contempt!

Glad to hear you have got it back relatively unscathed - you may want to keep onto the insurance and keep them informed, there is a chance that the police will try to charge you for storage whilst it is in their compound (amazing but true!) This happened to me - legal protection on my insurance took care of that without hitting my excess.

Please dont tell my Mom I ride a TDM - she thinks I spend my weekends in a brothel

Gad you have your bike back.

Wonder what can have happened that the thieves dump the bike so kick. Even though it is not a 900, it can't be because of disapointing performance laugh.gif !!!!!

What security did you have on it Stud ?

Glad its been found.

Guilty as charged on that one Ivan. I'd left her unchained after finishing a fettle sesh. sorry.gif Lesson learned punishment.gif

That said, there could have been a lot more damage if I'd had the steering lock on etc.

Think it might be a good idea to follow in Tony and Chris's footsteps and leave the washing and cleaning alone for a year or two laugh.gif

Thanks for all the words of encouragement, yer a great bunch of Carpedians wub.gif

Glad to hear it's found, think I should have a spare ignition barrel if you need it, and have definatly got the matching fuel cap, not 100% sure if I've got the seat lock though. Tam, did that seat I sold you have the lock mechanism it or did I remember to take it out?

Really sorry to hear this Ian, but obviously glad you have got her back. Been out all day on American Car meets with my Dad and only just got in and seen this.

Hopefully just the barrel and there will be help from here. I did see one on ebay yest and as I recall that nik the greek was looking to sell all locks as a set. Will look now and see what I can find.

Heres the other one I was thinking of. He mentions that he will be selling all locks as a set. Have checked, but don't look like he has listed yet.

Notes to self...

Test the bike alarm (don't think I have ever used it!!)
Start wedging the up and over doors again with 4x2 and enter the garage via the side door that has the 5 lever lock (another habit I slipped out of)
Fix up the CCTV system that I bought almost a year ago and is sitting in the bedroom (bought when 3 of the shits from the bastard estate that I live near came into my garden and nicked the dogs footballs. Small loss of course but just annoyed me. I have the CCTV of em from a neighbours system as they mad 3 trips to get em all. Have never found the buggers tho'.......yet. But I have a long memory for these sort of things))
