So You Ride Like A Girl?

"If you’re familiar with gymkhana then you already know how well these riders can toss their motorcycles in and out of a tightly arranged series of cones, all while racing the clock. If you never seen motorcycle gymkhana, prepare yourself for amazement!
But in this case the thing that’s as equally as impressive as a woman competing and doing so well, is that she’s stitching a big ol’ Kawasaki ZRX (likely the 1200cc model) through those cones! This bike was never known for its corner-carving prowess, and was a rather heavy, lumbering beast when it wasn’t blitzing along in a straight line.
No matter to this Japanese female: with the exception of knocking over one cone she glides around the course with laser-like precision, seemingly folding the front-end in on itself time after time to make one smooth carve after another."

One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humilty, kindness, empathy and truth.

Good stuff.
Looks an excellent sport, spectacular, accessible, low cost, low risk, and for any bike... what's not to like.

Not knocking her talents, but that is one tricked up Kwaka ................. check out the rear end & large wheel.
Good job though, she makes it look easy.

Nope, looks pretty similar to mine apart from the "S" fairing on mine.
We went on a motorcycle riding course last year and low speed riding was the key and getting the bike down like that around the cones was pretty normal. The instructor had a Honda ST1300 and he had that bike almost on the ground half the time. Unfortunately, too lazy to keep practicing so still riding like a nana

Hah, that was my first thought on seeing gymkhana. The bikes are set up for it, wide bars, low gearing etc but the TDM's can do it. I've been doing some advanced training which has led to some gymkhanaesque riding. For the first time ever I'm happy to whip the TDM round for a u turn in a lot less than 5mtrs of road, do full lock 360's & flip the bike from lock to lock & almost peg to peg. It started with my girlfriend doing licence training on the DT & me having to demonstrate, great fun (for me) so I started doing it on Tubby. The training has built my confidence & bike control immensely. I'm quite stunned at what our bikes are capable of really and the ability that comes from it. Moral of the story, look where you want to go, even if it's behind you... Oh, this is why I posted about rear brake adjustment.......
I have been using tennis balls cut in half to lay out exercises. Painless to ride over....

I'd never be able to remember where to go!
Massive skills on show, just wonder how much repair time the training and practice costs?
