Hi all. I've not posted on here in quite some time now and it seems sad that I'm posting now to point you in the direction of my bike for sale.

A combination of things have lead me to sell my bike. Since me and Charly (Big Dave's daughter) have bought a dog then a house I've had less and less time for riding my TDM for fun. I've managed maybe a couple of outings a month. It seems a shame to have such a good bike sat in my garage doing nowt.

The time may also have come to think about getting married and freeing up the money in the bike may go some way to starting that off  :help: . Hopefully I'll have a little money left over to buy a bike for my half hour blats around the local hills.

I've advertised the bike on Autotrader: Here.

I'm sure most of you will notice the price is quite high ( I may actually reduce it having done abit more research), but I expect to be negotiated downwards. So if anyone is fancying a lovely blue TDM 900 with only 9200 miles on the clock feel free to make me an offer.

Blimey Jonny, big life changes.  Have you considered holding on to the bike and tapping your future father-in-law for some cash, he's minted.

I think he's motorcycle rich rather than cash rich at the moment . He's going to have to start hiding bikes in other people garages soon to avoid the wrath of Sue.

The time may also have come to think about getting married

Is this your subtle way of broaching the subject with your future father in law JB ?

He does seem to have a TDM900 sitting unused in his garage....

Love it. Though I'm sure if I were ever in desperate need he would.

Thanks Dave, I did wonder about popping down to Earnshaws knowing that Jerry is a fan.

F#%k!

That should rake in a whole heap of "brownie points" for the bank. :good:

The question of fire arms (read shotgun) wouldn't be involved would it?

Especially when the future father in law is called Big Dave :pimp:     :rotflmmfao:

Not much for a 2007 bike with such low miles. I'd say the price you're asking isn't far off.

Chris

£3k was a trade buy in offer from a dealer, so I think you're right JB's asking price isn't too far out, especially when it's "negotiable"

When you sell to a dealer the dealer has to buy at a low enough price to mark it up and make a profit while the buyer still thinks they are getting a bargain.

Sell directly to the buyer and you can get dealers offer + less markup than dealer and the buyer gets a better bargain and the seller makes more.

When I bought bikes I would sell my old bike and use the money as a cash down payment instead of the smaller amount the bike would bring as a trade.
