made by who, do you know, if they are fruit of the loom I won't be buying any cos they are complete piles of misshapen shrinking shite, but if they are gildan heavy duty I may buy extra.

yes, I know I'm a freak

We have a choice...

Let me see what I can find out - I can specify brands, but pricing may change.

We,re a fussy lot ain't we.

Given the choice I'd also pay more for better quality. Haven't had fruit of the loom for a while, have they gone downhill?

Last carp shirt I had was from Moose on the east anglian g2g 2010 that's washed and lasted well.

I have some demo prints - (ignore the colour as this is just scrap material for the tests)

I've been advised that the embroidered image gets a little messy.  The text is a little small to be easily defined in thread.

The 10mm vinyl works well, and we think that the 10mm embroidered will tidy the text up a little, but it will loose some of the coverage around the silohete.

Please can I have thoughts / opinions.

Also re-shirt suppliers I've been recommended Russell as a good quality brand, but the Gildan can be got as well...

The 100mm orange vinyl one looks a lot sharper and more even than the 80mm black one.  The 80mm black vinyl looks awful imho.

The 80mm orange stitched wan looks nice and even althought the black text looks odd.  The 80mm black stitched one looks like the material is ruffled, or it's grossly mis-shapen. :unsure2:

Both those printed ones look great to me. I've also had good experience with gildan shirts but whatever you reckon is quality I'll go with. I'm not fussed about the embroidered stuff as I don't wear polo shirts.

The jury is still out on Russell t-shirts, I have 2 but I think they may started out a smaller size even though they were xxl, any chance of you getting hold of the t-shirt dimensions for both gildan and russell.

100mm vinyl looks best of the 2 printed

White on orange looks the better of the embroidered.

WIll get some progress today.

Sticking points at present

1. Time on my part

2. T-Shirt supplier - based on what's on here v's my guys recommendations

3. Embroidered logo quality

Let me see what I can sort out today, and then see about some trial runs.

I think we've nailed the printed logo so I will probably get a run of these sorted 1st, then address the stitched ones.

Is it possible to recreate the red, yellow and black logo from the top of the page? .... It just struck me how cool It'd look across the shoulders of a black, long sleeve tee, with maybe a small round logo on the breast or the cuff in the same colours. ... I'd deffo have one.......proper eye catcher....would complement my stealth stickers nicely : )

IMO this is a great logo an' way too good to be confined to the site.....hat's off to the designer : )

Is there any way of seeing it against a black background ?....I'd have a go myself but don't know the first thing about photo editing : /

That's the one.....nice, although having seen it I think it does loose something without its original blue backing :dunno: ...hmm.....maybe it's the shading visible against the blue that's lost......having said all that, I still love the black and would be proud to wear one......anyone agree or is my sense of fashion going off the boil?   :oldgit:
