Please forgive me if a more alert Member has already picked up on this but I was much taken by yet another Yamaha model, the XSR700 which I must say looks rather interesting.

I think Yamaha should be congratulated for keeping up the rate at which new and desirable real world machines are being introduced. It's only a couple of years since they were struggling with a largely irrelevant (other than the TDM - of course!) range of yesterdays technology.

Looks not too bad, might even grow on me. The tool kit arrangement under the seat is a real face palm, what were they thinking. If this is all Yamaha are doing with the MT07 mill, then it's a big disappointment though. I was expecting a smaller Tracer.

The way they stick that radiator there bother me, looks cheap, like they forgot all about it and then somebody said; we forgot is water cool!

Rest of the bike is ok, maybe is a great engine and all that..

I agree,  the radiator looks out of place. Like the instruments.

Fortunately for us, one is on the way, apparently. I've only seen spy shots of mufti versions so far.

That XSR does not do it for me at all.

I like it, although I'm all for modern myself. That rad should at least be black so it is less in yer face, IMO.

I'm not a Ducati fan at all but I think the Ducati scrambler takes some beating in this style of bike. I can't really believe I am saying that as I think Ducati is over rated unless you are loaded live in London and want a toy.

Oi !

I have a Ducati, I'm definitely not loaded and I live in Worcestershire. It has never broken down, although sometimes we have an argument as to whether it is going to be a 450 single or a 900 twin and it's relatively comfy.  I agree about the toy bit though!
