Yeah, not one of his best, but watchable.

Enjoy'd the show, me thinks Mclaren have take a shine to Mr Martin I can see a few more projects in the offing.
There's a letter in last weeks MCN I think it was (not sure as "the boy" brings them home - he works for Bauer Media ) from some clown who was disappointed with the "Our Guy in Russia" series because it wasn't all about motorbikes !! (apart from the bit about Putin's Angles !), has the Muppet not worked out yet that Mr Martin is not exactly your avarage one trick pony
Can't wait for his next show, the guy's a legend (see what I did there !!).

Methinks you mean Williams and not those dreadful McLaren people! I have to say that as my daughter is an engineer at Williams. Their F1 Heritage collection at Grove is well worth a trip.

I think people miss the point with Guy Martin that he's not primarily a bike racer. In his own words he's a lorry mechanic first and foremost who races bikes. Reading his autobiography makes you realise he would happily chuck all the TV stuff just to get on with working on his lorries, so I think he only really bothers with projects that interest him now.
He's more interested in the mechanics of things - he was drooling over the Ford Cosworth engine and his enthusiasm is what makes things like this entertaining.
That said, would be interesting to see a version where an F1 driver tries to race him on a bike

There was something like that years ago with drivers from several disciplines racing each others kit, but the car drivers couldn't get the insurance or persuade their sponsors to let them race the bikes as it was too dangerous
