One of the problems with AI is that it is a load of crap !

Another is that it has no sense of shame or even embarrassment.

I worry about the eejits who believe this hype...

The formula is still incorrect.

Litres per 100Km is the inverse of Miles per Gallon - as the first increases the second reduces.

Round the decimal values to two significnt figures for simplicity, and the formula quoted is:-

[(5 / 100) x 0.22] / 0.62 = 0.0177

This is the reciprocal of 56.36  (ie 1 / 0.0177)

Go on - get your calculator out and check.

So the formula should be [{100 / 5} x 0.62] /0.22

This equals [ (100 x 62) / 22 ] / 5

Simplified this is 282 / L  where L is the number of litres for 100 Km - 5 in the example.

(282.48116 / L to be precise, assuming the quoted conversion values are correct!)

Someone needs to teach AI how to use mathematical notation.
