I've just had a main zip replaced on my RST Paragon III jacket by LSR - Lancashire Sports Repairs.

It is the outer of two front zips ("splash-proof") on a textile jacket now ten years old but still in very good condition.

RST declined to repair it without saying why not. Perhaps thinking it too old and they could get a new sale from it. I'm really pleased with the jacket and it still does all it should.

Anyhow - LSC looked good and after some discussion with their Danny over the viability and type of zip I sent it off against a quote of £53 returned. The only downside was a 6-8 week wait - plus Christmas/NY. Sent end of October, returned about 18th Jan..

I've forgiven the long wait because the workmanship is excellent. You cannot tell anything is not original inside or out. I've worked in the sewing industry and am really impressed by their workmanship.

So, if you need a repair go talk to LSR. They do a wide range of repairs incl. Gore-Tex, and sales too.
