Sorry if this has been covered - I did look.

When is it time to replace a helmet - assuming it is undamaged.

My Schuberth feels fine but I'm loathed to ditch an expensive helmet if I don't need to. I've had it for about 5 years now.

Thoughts??

They do say 5 years but I think that is overkill

It depends how much you have used it ? If its used every day or once a month,

Five years ................. I would have changed mine two years ago.

Might be time to treat yourself, look at helmet city on line.

Cheers, Ivan

Agree, helmet city are very  good.  But I went into their shop for a new Shoei and they changed the cheek pads to ensure a best fit.  Better than buying on line.

I use it every day, with a silk balaclava. Must admit it still feels really good, but...
