The 4TX front springs have one end that is more tightly wound. What is the reason for this ?

It would appear that someone has swapped the original ones for some after market progressive rate ones, they should be a constant rate spiral.

As new. It’s only the last few turns ( pitch) that are smaller. The JBX site refers to it
