I've been given a paddock stand. Where can I get suitable bobbins from please?

Seriously Dave, there are lots out there. Info about which stand you have would help. You want to lift the front of the bike or back? Maybe best for the cradle type of attachment where you don't need bobbins.
M and P, demon tweaks, Oxford, sportsbikeshop, eBay etc can all help.
Your location, bike model, and intended use of stand would help in getting a more sensible,(but less imaginative) reply. Let us know how you get on.

Don't know/can't remember if the 850 has fixing points for permanent bobbins, when I had mine I used something similar to these

The brackets look like plastic,I wouldn't feel comfortable having my bike on them.

Those go on the stand to hold the swing arm and are more than up to the job.

Yes, it seems flimsy but at the end of the day the 900 rests on M6 threads in each side of the s/a.  So I use M6 bolts and remove after use.  With penny washers to locate the paddock stand easier.  Almost free and easily available.
