Yes, Ive had a response and they have availability. However, there are only two rooms in the bunkhouse sleeping 4 each at £30 per room per night. There are no self catering facilities and breakfast is £7.50. A maximum of eight is pretty useless in my opinion. Howsabout the bunkhouse here - www.aviemore-bunkhouse.com. It's more than big enough, next door to a pub, has self catering and has fantastic roads. Aviemore has a range of great facilities to boot.

Just back from around that bit of the country...........Aviemore itself is a bit of a shithole but a couple of miles out and its a beautiful spot.

Ok pity about Glenuig. Aviemore is not very pretty but that particular hostel is right next to the Bridge Inn, a good boozer with food drinks.gif , and is Jimmy Saville's local to boot. (Now then, ah-aah) There are loads more hostels all over the place though, check this out - Scottish Independent Hostels

I've had a wander round the hostel website and there are a few possibilities. The single most important requirement is that it must be within easy staggering distance to/from a pub. What do others think - anything grab you? huh.gif huh.gif
