Really sorry to hear things are degenerating Ian and like everyone else am grateful for your sterling efforts.

I've been scrolling through the postings, and apologise if I've missed it, but are there any proposed dates yet or is that still to be agreed?

Still not agreed. Nor is the venue as yet. But there should be more news by next month.

Many thanks Chris, glad I can't be accused this time of not looking properly!

Hello Ian

I'am shure you will be at the party in 2011. It's not the matter of the bike but the spirit. And you have it!

Hi guys.

I just got back yesterday from a great holiday in St Lucia which gave me a chance to take stock of life. Taking on an agenda of beaches, rainforest etc. rather shocked and dismayed me to realise how much strength and general wellbeing I've lost, especially over the last 6 months. I will need to concentrate more effectively on stopping the deterioration and maybe (hopefully) even recover some strength, which means getting out and about instead of sitting here at the PC feeling my legs and general energy go dead, so I'm announcing my retirement from 2011 activities. Over to you, Tony and Chris and any other good mates who can help to represent Carpe and see that the G2G happens.

Mind how you go.

Ian

Hi,
I'm a new member and have only had my TDM for a couple of weeks. I am looking forward to some dry weather so I can get out and enjoy it and would be up for helping out. I speak fluent German although, having been on the german site, I've discovered some interesting words not in my vocabularly. If there is anyone in the Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire area who wants some company at weekends, give me a shout.
Alistair

2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

As Tony says above Ivan there's feck all we can do at the moment and it's not easy to see what we can do before the event due to the geographical distance except make the odd suggestion. Once the venue and dates are firm then perhaps we can add more and offer to do stuff when we are there.

I would have thought Carpe members would be the best ones for "odd" suggestions rotflmmfao.gif

Lars, Wheels are in motion on that one, I have asked Tony to set up a new window for all the discussions.

But I will start a new thread and we can ask Tony to put this one and mine into it.

Peter, I would personally volunteer to chase the BMW's away, but ..... How can we stop them !

If they come along on a non-TDM bike, its because secretly they want one and they might go away and buy one .....

Cheers, Ivan
