Worked out my fuel consumption at 59.26 mpg, or 21kpL. That was with a choppy crosswind most of the way back.

How's your foot Chris?

Glad you bounce well, Chris. Do you need a note for Syra? blush.gif
And now you've posted, I can put these up

Skip-a-dee-doo-dah

The offending patch of gravel

Some of the mechanical damage

In fairness to Chris Crash Larkin, he was third through on the bend, hadn't been pushing on, and got unlucky. Gravel wasn't deep but was spread out, so once you started moving, it was a while to reach the solid surface again.

Prize goes to the cruiser rider (wearing shorts) Tedeum had just passed, who stopped, and allegedly said "watch out for the gravel".

Who's this Chris Larkin "dude". Thats my name.. surely there cant be two of me???????

I don't like YZ250's anymore.........check out my avatar, one literally kicked me in the ass

Crispy - Chris Larkin is Tedeum - King of the Rat Bikes and master Luthier (had to look up that spelling!)

Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

Well lads, i finally got round to getting the tyres on the old girl changed today before i head off to england for a wedding this weekend. I managed to squeeze another trip to clifden and a months commuting out of the old ones. Only a few arse-clenching moments... Honest!

See, i told you TDMs flew...

Riding slowly to make you all look faster...

1997 Mk2 (registered '99) in super quick yellow/silver with custom gone-faster scratches. Micron 2-1 exhaust (fruity but not offensive), TRX engine (after the death-rattle signalled the end of the original), Hagon rear shock, rust-proof rear end courtesy of loobman chain oiler... My first and only bike (delivered new to home before I passed my test), tatty and a bit of a shed, but still get a buzz from it!
