No it's in Grantham and I'm in Lancashire I left a holding deposit refundable if I don't like it when I get there.

I went to Saltire M/c swanky new showroom in Edinburgh today and had a hard time keeping my credit card in my pocket.  They've got a cafe, a barber (really !) and Alba Customs.....

They call it the UK's fiorst 'motorcycle village'  .... 44,000 sq ft of bikes

There's nothing wrong with theTDM......that's how I got out without spending......there's nowt wrong with the TDM :)

You won't regret it. They are a solid bike well thought out.
Good luck.

Taken the deposit off the Tiger in Grantham won't go into the reasons but they are valid.

Have now viewed another one and put a deposit on that. Collect Saturday.

1 owner from new all receipts for services etc. only problem it's black and I wanted a white one

Mines black. If you want to change the colour it's only a tank and the front mudguard so the choice is yours.
Looking forward to your review & pictures Gasman

Do you have both a TDM and a Tiger? I take it from your comments you like the Tiger is there anything I should know? You will probably be sick of my questions in no time.
BTW just ordered a dealertool so I can work on it and drag myself into the 21st century.
Have you got any extras I can buy or know of some?
Thanks TinTin

Only got the Tiger & my ER6f at the mo.

KC Superbikes in Carlisle told me the only thing I need to keep an eye on is the stepper motor for the injection system.

Apparently the little rod can stick if it gets covered in crud. Haven't  had a look at mine yet. The Tiger forum lads tell me the new ones are now fully enclosed so the problem has gone.

No spares for sale I'm afraid. I bought a Renntec rear carrier & put a universal monolock plate on for my Givi top box.

Will be putting some small Kappa panniers on for the G2G & the Ulster I hope.

Oh and my Fuel exhaust of course.

I will be getting a Dealer tool as well but will wait till the 12K service is done then I do my own servicing.

Lets know how you get on with the new bike & post a few pics

I think the Tiger 800 is the best looking bike out at the moment. I'd seriously consider one if I wasn't so Jap biased

Blue 04 TDM,PR2 rear Roadsmart front, Yamaha topox, Givi E360 panniers, PL pannier holders, BMW handguards, Yamaha touring screen, Scottoiler, 12v ciggie socket, carbon core HT leads

Gorn :sorry:
