Just got back from a ride out and found my Spada textile trousers have split open, not on the stitching but the material has torn apart near the rear hip padding !

Can they be fixed,ie can a patch be put over the tear as I cannot see how the tear can be sewn up  ?

Only had them a couple of years so not impressed ! :(

Try These

They should be able to advise if a repair is possible - they replaced a velcro tab on a pair of my Textile trousers without affecting waterproofing

Be careful, if they're falling apart they're not going to offer you much protection in the event of a tumble.

Your right Kelpie

This is what is annoying me, that Spada have made a product which looks like it's not fit for purpose .

If I had a spill, would these trousers have given me any protection ?

Go after them. I had a set of Spada leathers years ago that the stitching came apart on. My Richa leathers are 5 years old and still going strong.
