The Mk1, Mk2 and TRX all use the same tensioner but they changed it for the 900 I'm afraid.

Some people on here have bought parts from Fowlers in the UK and had them ship overseas. http://www.fowlers.co.uk/parts/

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now :(
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

Gilbert. All the information you're asking is here already if you use the search engine and look. Just recently there has been a lot of activity here regarding cam chain tensioners. I, myself, have just changed mine using the sticky thread in 'Knowledge Base'. In regards to gaskets, AFAIK, a rule of thumb with any new part, is that you change any associated gasket at the same time.

Blue 04 TDM,PR2 rear Roadsmart front, Yamaha topox, Givi E360 panniers, PL pannier holders, BMW handguards, Yamaha touring screen, Scottoiler, 12v ciggie socket, carbon core HT leads

Gorn :sorry:

You should replace the gasket but I didn't when I replaced mine as I completely forgot I'd need one until I took the old tensioner out. Doesn't really have any pressure behind it and mine's not oozing oil.
