Now have a new TDM;- centre stand was ordered but not fitted yet

Is the TDM suitable for something like this?

Pah, Abba stands are a solution in search of a problem. Real bikers do it like this laugh.gif

Agree Abbas are good bits of kit, but if you want a centrestand anyway there's not a lot an Abba can do that a centre stand can't (except stay in the garage and not scrape the road in fast corners)

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now :(
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

I dropped an email to Ian at IB and asked if it would work on the deltabox frame of a 92 TDM850.

There was a line on their page about 'mods available' so it might work with the correct dohickey attached.

Thanks for all the replies
You have led me to consider this, it has fittings for the 08 TDMs

http://www.abbastand...etails.asp?id=3

I paid for a centre stand which will be fitted by the Yamaha dealer when it turns up

I'm more interested in raising the bike up for convenience of servicing and cleaning etc
Anyone have or seen one ?

Practically the same as the Austrailian IB lift, can you buy the converter by itself?
The IB lift works out to £173. Enough of a difference to more than cover the shipping I would think.

(Abba can hold 500KG and the IB 360KG, but 360KG is more than enough.)
