Got home last night, still knackered this morning.
As adventures go it was up there with the best of them.
1,827 miles, £190.26 in petrol, best MPG was from Inveran to the first services past Glasgo on M74 ,
239 miles, for 15.81 ltrs ............. 68.7 mpg !!!!!!! could not believe my eyes. Must be down hill.
I left here last Wednesday and its been none stop riding since. No video of the run as the bracket was damaged in the drop the other week.
Thanks for everyone turning up it was an experience I will not forget. There is so much to post up here???
From getting a free room off the manager at the Lands End hotel, when we all we asking him was just to sit in the foyer till 2.00 am, leaving in the pitch black at 3.00 am, the rain, missing Dapleb ! ( Sorry got the wrong junction. )
The wind, the electrics going on Chris's GS which costed 30 mins to change a bulb and then it did not work !!!, Seeing Charlie on the Bridge M6 , A9 road works beeping and nodding to a rider waiting at the lights, who I thought was bigdave, but it was'nt, And him thinking I was telling him the lights were green and set off down this single carrigeway on red !!!! Luckily they were bust and no one came towards us.
Getting over Inverness bridge and seeing we still had 120 miles to go and it was 6.00 pm !!
And finaly, thinking we still had a load of hills in front of us, coming over the final brow of the hill into John O'groats and realising it was the Orkney's !!!!!!! Brilliant.
Took us 17.5 hrs ! till 8.30pm. What a day. Meal and the beer and the end was the most well earned ever.
Here are some of my pictures, but in all honesty, you had to have been there.
Thanks for the support and hopefully, Stormy would have loved it.
Cheers, Ivan
Blingers, Old Grey Wizzard, me, Big Dave and Chrisville.

John O'Groats post
Finally the sun gets out on the way home, BettyHill beach.

I was Chris, it was a true test of staminer.
Not an off, went into William Hill in Ormskirk for my Grand National winnings, when I came out the bike was on it's side.
Few scratches and a bent clutch lever. Hence the flourescent strips on the side panel.
Thought everthing was sorted , but the camera was pointing to much at the ground
never mind, theres always next year
Luckily I'm off today, so I can rest up, my face is burning of the cold wind.
Came back early, as the local were forecasting snow .
Bike is in a hell of a state so I will sort it out and give it some TLC.
