Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

Do,nt talk about bad knees.. I,ve got one that do,nt work much thanks to a Big Blue FORD 7000 pulling a trailer out of a field way back in my teenage years... If it was,nt for the cab I would have cleared it with no faults rolleyes.gif Never stoped me though , I always have had some sort of bike without a break right up to present day.. 1 Suzuki... 1 Honda... and all the rest YAMAHA............ But we,ll hear all the old war stories in Westport rotflmmfao.gif I Googled the route from my place to Westport .. its 153 miles.. Paddy was right , we,ll need a few cake stops on th way

Just looking at the route tonight Jim,

Are you thinking of going via Enniskillen to Sligo then downhill to Westport ???

If this is the route, we need research for cake stops lol

Just wondering if there are any more Carpedians interested in the Ireland G2G on June 25th-27th? Looks like we have eight heads at the moment.
Cheers,

If anyone is looking for camping gear you could try Capel Camping and ask for John - mention CarpeTDM and Alex and he might be able to do somthing for you.

Would love to go but it's a long journey all on my lonesome. Trying to drum up support from other TDM riders around the south-east.

I know the G2G is still a way off but as this is my first I was wondering are there any set ground rules ??? Like is it OK to bring some liquid refreshment to help with the overall costs.. plus it would be nice while sitting around the old camp fire to have a small glass of something warming to help me sleep.. drinks.gif Also does anyone have a pump to blow up my airbed??? ohmy.gif Will there be a BBQ.. as I will need lots of food to keep me going all weekend..

Rules are.. there are no rules. What you eat or drink is up to you.

Kickstarter, when are you travelling up, and what route?
