On the matter of culture, I've been getting a fair bit of interest from the French TDMers - keen on the idea of a Scottish meet and this might be close enough for some. Would it be a positive move to post something about this G2G on their site? Might add to the fun - they sound to have a fair beer n' biking capacity - and could mop up spare places?

I have stayed at this camp site before and its ok, the area is my local Sunday ride out,
Bellingham is a small farming Village which hosts one of the biggest Country shows in Northumberland.
You have Kielder resiviour and forrest track (12 miles long ) Roman wall and forts.
Alnwick castle, Bamburgh castle and more and some good to fantastic road depending on what you want, twistys no probs here.

Is this open to all members?

Hey! I rough it when I go camping...
The 10 meter deck in front of my trailer (caravan) didn't even have a staircase and a second landing till last week. ranting.gif
Furthermore I have to walk all the way to the top of the hill (must take 3-4 minutes!) to get to the pool or the hot-tub.

I have been looking for an excuse to take teh ferry across and visit a mate in Newcastle, and this seems like the excuse that I needed. In addition, She Who Must Be Obeyed is in a good mood tonight. So count me in.

I could camp as a last resort but would prefer a bed - are there still any to be had and if so, how do I send money to the UK?
