Just a few pics from my recent trip up north. Based in Strontian took in Ardnamurchan lighthouse, tour of Mull then up to Arisaig and Mallaig... all via Glen Coe and back home via Crianlarich, Loch Earnhead and Callander...550 miles over 3 days. TDM was awesome on this trip...very comfortable, no aches or pains at all :) managed to squeeze in about 25miles on forestry tracks around Strontian. Isnt it great this is right on our door step!! :

I got closer and cut out the rusty bits at the lighthouse a couple of years ago. The single-track out needs concentration, eh?

Cheers Masterbrewer... believe it or not, it was pictures I saw of your bike that was the deciding factor for me getting the TDM mk1. Just need to get some chunky tyres now..

Glad all my fun helped :good:

Unfortunately due to a work injury (2 prolapsed discs just before they made me redundant, nice bastards) I've had to seriously consider my riding options and as most of Australia's interesting locations are accessed by dirt roads, I have kept the TDM for light stuff and acquired a Suzuki DR 650 with long range fuel tank (36 litres) with a lot less weight even when tank is full.

Gee ! I miss the TDM, it is so smooth :cloud9: in comparison.
