Only ever had to use breakdown once (car) _ that was with the AA.-about 40 mins to turn up for a man stranded alone on the hard shoulder - told him I'd lifted the bonnet and that there was oil from Torrey Canyon to Texas - beavertail deployed without a glance underneath - no taking me home after car dropped off at garage - I was dropped off with the motor too - worth bearing in mind.

Single-handedly reviving the Wave.

Green Flag have been good for me. Came out when the bike wouldn't start and got me home. On a separate trip they came out when the bike trailer had a puncture and fixed that.

2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

You have to read the small print. Some of them have a limit how many times they will turn out, and some won't cover a vehicle of a certain age etc etc. I was with AA for years, but this year they wanted £126 (I think) for assistance and relay, but not including homestart.
I ended up with GEM. Haven't tested them yet, but they get good reviews. It is more like what the AA and RAC used to be. As a member you receive a very good magazine 3 or 4 times a year.
Good luck with whoever you choose.
Atb.
