In the meantime, Seaways bike café at Fridaythorpe opens on July 1st. It's my second home so maybe I'll see you there.

Fender extender, after market Bullster touring screen, radiator guard, RM-G crash bars, 12V/USB socket, Oxford heated grips, Bagster tank cover, centre stand, E22 Givi panniers, standard exhausts. Beautiful Acerbis hand guards. <p>2015 Honda Crosstourer Highlander dct. Fabulous bike, but getting heavier as I age. The 9er is its replacement, eventually.

I also use a lathe and miller and sometimes help out people on here.

Have you ever made up a pilot screw Lee? It's for my XT600, I'd like a longer one with knurled head if it's doable, I believe the thread is M4 x 0.7, be a fiddly job though.

Never tried Seaways, too close to home when I lived over there. Is the tea and cake stand at Fimber roundabout still going (current situation notwithstanding)?

The taper will be difficult to get right
I was thinking that, I'll live with my original.
The thought of easier adjustment was nice.

i used to ride out with Yorkshire 2 stroke club from squires and seaways was the destination.
We usually carried on to scabs for finch and chimps by the deedide

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs, fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.

So I've laid out the cash and now own a 2008 TDM900 in black with just 15,000 miles from new.

spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Can't remember who I did it for, but I put a stainless cap screw into a brass pilot screw once.I was thinking that, I'll live with my original.

I assume just drilled/tapped/locktited?
Might be an idea.
