Hello guys,

I have moved from Greece to UK for some time now, and i am planning to import my bike.

I wonder about what the cost of mot, insurance and road tax would be for a tdm 850 model 1999

Most web sites require a plate number and i dont have that yet.

Thank you

Most websites give you the opportunity to give the registration number later. There is usually a box that says not bought yet or not available. You will need to change your headlight as it dips the wrong way. I have one off a 1998 850 you can have. Cost of MOT varies but is £35 to £45. Road tax is £80 per year but you can now pay monthly if you want.

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

Hello muddy, I live in Edinburgh

Oh, too far away to attend a fettle day then. That's a shame it would be nice to have a chat with a Cretan again after so many years. Your village is not far from the region I worked when I first traveled to Crete in 1978. I worked picking grapes in Dafnes. Wonderful memories and a beautiful country.
