Wemoto seems to sell both. I'm just looking to take my original downpipes off, rub them down, respray them and refit them. Which one's best please guys and gals? (and why???? ) Oh, and any tips on the best VHT paint to use?
Then I've got this to fit! I'm looking forward to annoying the neighbours. Thanks Nikko

It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got.

I have no personal experience with this but:
I believe copper is softer than aluminum and will 'squish to fit' if there are any irregularities in the fitment.

Just fitted OE copper gaskets, they seem to work OK. Only £1 from Dan at Just Motorcycles in Basingstoke.

Basingstoke? Thats where Arthur Dent met Tricia McMillan.

I thought it was at a party in an Islington flat?

i have recently bought a set from wemoto, but they didn't fit, way too small, phoned them up and their answer was
"we have sold loads of sets of these and no one else has complained"
long story short....i told em where to stick the gaskets only to get a phone call back offering to send me another set as a courtesy gesture.
the size they sent was 40 mm O/D, when i measured the ones that came off the bike they were more like 46 mm O/D
i even checked the parts book at my local garage and his book also said 40 mm
i ended up with a pair of 46 mm O/D copper gaskets, fitted very well. the original ones i took out were copper too.
