Just a heads up for Nurburgring visitors. Was there yesterday, parked right outside main entrance. When leaving, bike no starty! Datatool alarm immobiliser wouldn't reset. Battery changed (in fob) still no starty, call MCE go for subway. Go to retry and there's 4 Germans around a bike with wires everywhere, then my mates bike joins the club.....same problem. Long story short, apparently there are huuuuuge cables running underground there which interfere with signals. Wheeled bikes 50 meters (stopped by police, no helmet, how we laughed) and all was well.MCE not chuffed......but hey!

I've had the same on the cross channel ferries too. Apparently it's the radar at UK ports.

Glad you got sorted.

Never a problem on any car or bike inc.8504TX n 900(A) , at ports (UK Spain France Holland Belgium), N'ring, airfields (inc.Farnborough, NCL, MAN, LGW, RAF Leaming), Jodrell Bank or at Fylingdales. Always thought it was bollocks/urban myth until others had (riding beemers at F'dales). Maybe I'm a fortunate son/microwave magent/natural RFB shield (most likely reason). :P
