Hola, not been on here for ages.  Sold my 9er last year, more because I was moving house, it didn't start after a long lay off (fuel pump again, my fault), and no time to sort it. Still have my 97 magna 750c for old time's sake and wasn't looking for anything else anytime soon.

Then I saw this and, well, wondered.

I don't need anything for touring, just a bit of fun and short rides which turn into the long way home and many hours.

Any comments?

Cheers

Ric

It's a hooligan bike compared to the tdms. An awesome engine, pulls like a tractor from low rpms.
A bit more sceptic about build quality...

I've had a go on a mates MT07 last year when they popped over from the uk. (I'm in spain as well)  It reminded me on an LC 350 but with grunt. Addictive and nimble. I presuime the 900 is like the YPVS version! I'd change the pipe for a more rorty sound and thats about it.

I would recommend trying the both MT-07 and 09 for comparison. I conclude (from reading only) that the 09 is a little madder, but that the 07 is just as much fun (I have one).

I went from an MT-09 Tracer last year to a MT-07 Tracer and prefer it and it's just as quick in the real world.

Spoke to a guy here who prefers the 07, maybe that's a better way to go.  Will have a look.  Was it just the grey and silver that attracted me?  Just like yellow 850 always did
