Hyperflash with the normal/standard flasher unit and 21w (possibly at each indicator)? - that's what should work with the resistors - as drewpy says, the LED flasher unit shouldn't need any extra resistance

But yep, hyperflash with oem relay unit and 21w resistor at each indicator.

Hi
Have you measured the resistance across the resistor to check it is actually functioning? The job you have done should be working. I'm looking for a possible fault now.

Could this be something to do with the diode kit I fitted under the dash for the tell tale?

With the standard flasher unit, Led indicators and 21w resistors, there should be no need to modify anything else.

The only thing left to try is to return it all to standard - check it works properly and then replace one indicator at a time with LED and 21w resistor - if that works then add another LED indicator to the same side of the bike and test again. If the standard setup doesn't work then there is a fault either in the wiring or the flasher unit.

Is there any help in the instructions that came with them?
If not, I agree with favs, back to stock and change one at a time and see.
If that fails, try contacting the supplier?

Hi
Try to use the LEDs you won't regret their long life or additional brightness

Doing this, I did manage to get the FL to tick at the correct rate, but the lamps didn't flash, and neither did the tell tale. Unplugging one of the resistor wires brought the tell tale light back and also increased the FL tick. I also tried this with and without the diode kit and the behaviour was the same. Does this open another line of thought or ideas?

So, I went out this morn with another couple ideas to try, and I think I made a step of progress. I wired the 21w resistors like this:

Tried swapping LED polarity ?

Hi
2 lamps fitted on one side and one resistor = no flash?

How does one do that Bjorge?

2 lamps fitted on one side and two resistors = no flashy, but FL ticking at correct speed.

Have you tried unplugging the +ve on one side and the -ve on the other side so that you're basically bridging the two wires ?

I get it now Bjorge, I haven't tried it, but will give it a go. I have to this point assumed that red was pos and black was neg, but you never know! (They have lit up before though)
