It might be an idea if we put our own travel itineries on here so we can meet up where the lines cross, so to speak and work out who's meeting up and where.
Here's mine.
Tunnel crossing booked for Wed 22nd @ 14:20 outbound, Tues 28th @ 13:50 return
Overnight stop over at Amay, Chateau Du Temps Wed 22nd outbound, Monday 27th Return
If anyone is travelling down past this way (Lowestoft) en route to their crossing and wants an overnight stop over, I'm happy to put people up for the night. We'll be looking at leaving around 8:30/9:00 am for a leisurely ride down to the tunnel. I can provide garaging for about 4-5 bikes and a decent breakie for those that stay.
My intended route to the tunnel is A12/M25/A20/M20 if anyone wants to meet up. Oakdene cafe on the A20 near Wrotham springs to mind for any southerners!
2004 Galaxy Blue. Owned since 486 miles.Renthal 755 bars, Bagster tank cover, Oxford heated grips, DL650 hand guards, Double Bubble screen, Scorpion Rad guard, Gel pad insert, HLD undertray, Angry Badger tailtidy, Michelin Road 5s, Givi E21s, E46 topbox, Ohlins shock and YSS cartridge emulators Currently not fitted - PC3, Remus Revolutions.
Putting up with the "niner" jokes since 2005

Leaving on Thursday 16th June from Portsmouth to LeHarve (or Caen), ride across France to Italy making sure we keep south of Switzerland so Tony doesn't spend the rest of the trip in a Swiss jail, riding up through the Aosta mountains in Italy, riding the Stelvio pass, riding another pass which I cant remember the name of, head north to Munich, make a visit to Dachau concentration camp and then arrive at the MT on Thursday 23rd. And before any wag says thats a long ride without stopping, we will obviously camp or B&B along the way
Ali G, Cats and me plan to catch the 13.50 Eurostar home on the 28th and Tony D will probably tour the war graves in Belgium. JHT and Chris G will also hopefully be able to join us all at some point but need to confirm their plans. Any others interested in joining us are obviously more than welcome.
The current ferry options are Brittany ferries Portsmouth to Caen: depart 08.15 arrive 15.00 - £80.00 or LD Lines Portsmouth LeHarve: depart 23.00 and arrive following morning - £58.00 including reserved seat.

I just had a look at the German Forum and seeing as my German is rather limited I decided to use the auto-translate function. So now I'm very worried about this trip ...either that Chrome Translator is absolutely useless or every one of the lads on that German forum are utterly and totally plastered ... I'm hoping it's the latter...

Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.
