Nice bike :) and i like those crash bars too, are they the ones from Poland ?

Cheers, I'm not sure, everything that's on it was there when I bought it.  Cans, renthal bar and racks.  Don't really know a whole lot about it.  One small crack on a fairing that has been repaired and a small stress crack where the headers meet which is being welded.  Apart from that its in pretty good shape, from what I can tell anyway.

My top 2 tips for new 900 owners:

1. Has the airbox mod been done ?   If not then do it.

2. Check the chain tension . It should be 50 mm to 60 mm on the side stand with no load on the bike ( or just a thumb depth short of the swingarm when pushed upwards )

Enjoy!

Depending on what you've ridden in the past, prepare to be over or under whelmed. Give the TDM time
and learn what it needs to be ridden well and you won't go wrong.
And welcome to da club btw.
Lock onto my co-ordinates and beam me up !!

Dip the fork oil to see what condition it's in, the fork seals can last so long that the fork legs go without attention for a long time. As mentioned already, grease up the rear shock relay arm bearings (annually) . Reseat all electrical plugs and sockets, just open them up,give a quick spray with a contact lube (or ACF50) if you have it, and reconnect again, especially the ones under the tank. Check the battery voltage at idle, it should be above 13V, alternator stators can burn up, alternative cheap replacements are available......and fit the best tyres you can afford, the bike can really handle being pushed but you need the confidence only good rubber can provide first

And hello !

Hi chaps and welcome, lots to read through on this site, fettling sooner than later is a better option, especially the shock linkage.
