At £6299, I've gotta say this bike seems like a logical next bike for me. At 196kg wet it's a fair bit lighter than the TDM and will probably give about a 5 to 10mpg improvement, if some of the MT07 figures are anything to go by, so the 17 litre tank shouldn't effect the tank range that much. Gotta get a test ride.

The MT-07 engine is the star element, IMHO. In case of interest, my 07 does 67mpg - with a refill at 175 miles; also, an 07 forum shows tyres can be doing north of 14,000 miles.

Reviews for this bike are all very positive, well the MT07 at least cant see it being any worse for the Tracer though, seems many folk think the MT09 Tracer is a better bike than the MT09......either way a good buy i reckon.

Well I like my Tracer. Did 200 miles around mid-Wales last week and was sorry to have to go home. I just find the seat is a bit unforgiving, everything else is perfect and it's quick!

I have a pad on the seat cos it's too thin. Nice shape though.

Twin cylinder, light weight, lots of torque and good economy. What's not to like. :good:  Looks like the zorst is a one piece system. Colour options are pretty limited and a bit boring.  Lots of accessories like heated seat an' stuff.  Wudda looked better with USD forks imho and I'm still not convinced with the look of the rear end and lack of a hugger to keep the crap away.  Tickentockens look like they're fitted to the handlebars.

Gonna have a sit on one of these but looking at the specs, it's slightly higher than the niner. In the not too distant future I will have to consider something a wee bit smaller than my beloved TDM. :(

Went to Moores in Appley to get the 9erso a MOT after picking up the E21s from Frank and they had about 6 MT07 Tracers in stock. And they are gorgeous, especially the black ones. Spoke to Colin Moore and I'm gonna take one for a test ride in the next couple of weeks.

They had a pristine 2006 9er with 17000 on the clock, in case anyone is looking.
