The MT10 looks quite nice once they've thrown the entire accessories catalogue at it too, dread to think how much all the bits cost though

LOL. The 700 motor has grabbed my interest, too, to say the least.

I'm really looking forward to the XT 700z release in a few months. If I rode solely tarmac I would be over the 700 Tracer like a rash but I hope to do some extensive touring of NZ in the next year or 3 and a 21" front wheel will get me to places the Tracer can't.

Like THIS.

And I can do some troot fishing, too.

i considered it but it looks like a girls' bike, so I declined. If I had more money than sense, I might buy one to ponse around on when I was bored. :)
You don't need balls to ride a big bike.

Well, they cannot be favouring Yams all the time... someone else's turn. And they put the weight wrong at 214kg instead of 196kg in the end table (one of the bike's clear advantages).

Exactly. It's The weight of it that the main attraction for me. And on paper it's got the same sort of performance as the 9er, albeit less grunt and a bit less top end. Nothing to worry me.Anyway I'd buy a Yamaha over a Kawasaki any day.
